ISLAND PROJECT

In the autumn of 2025, I had the opportunity to visit three distinct islands; Sørvær, Svalbard and Japan. Mapping spaces, figuring out the sound of the place, the people, the temperature, the feeling, the smell and how the different islands affected me and my way of moving. ISLAND PROJECT is a project that will keep on growing in the upcoming year with the goal of presenting each island danced by three different performers. We will be the Island, we will dance the island.
