Tone Kittelsen

Tone Martine Kittelsen (1989) is an Norwegian dancer, choreographer, curator and producer based in Oslo, Norway. She is educated at The University of Stavanger with a BA in contemporary dance.

 

Since 2013 she has been working as a freelancer developing own work, as well as working in cooperation with others.

She is currently working with or has been working with artists such as Tori Wrånes, Therese Markhus, Heidi Jessen, Camilla Nordhagen, Stian Danielsen, Roosna/Flak, Lisa Nøttseter and Stefano Fardelli.

 

Tones own work has been performed in different festivals in Norway and and Europe. The latest year she have been focusing on solowork and also started up How To Solo in Oslo.

In 2016 she established Husby/Kittelsen, a collective together with dancer and choreographer Victoria Husby. The collective premiered they first full length piece Svisj! Svosj! in August 2016. She is also one of the founders and dancers in Collektive K, a company based in Sout of Norway.  In 2016 Kittelsen started her first dance for screen project, The Nordic Escape, together with Maja Hannisdal. 

 

Tone is one of the founders of Ravnedans. She is one of the curators and has for the past two years been the project leader and producer of the festival. Kittelsen has also been a producer for choreographer Ingri Fiksdal.
